This is a running list of the movies my son and I are watching - our
goal is to watch the 100 movies on the AFI's 10 Top Ten Movies list.
To
Kill A Mockingbird
July 14, 2008 - One of my favorite movies of all time, but one I'd
only seen once before, back when I was in college. My son liked it a
lot, but my wife hated it. I loved the movie even more now than I
did when I saw it in school.
The Day The Earth Stood Still
July 15, 2008 - I'd never seen this one before, but the trailer for
the remake with Keanu Reeves intrigued me. My son seemed to dislike
this movie, but he gave it a higher score than To Kill A
Mockingbird. I'm not quite sure he gets the "scoring" idea. I
liked this movie fine, but it was not at all comparable to some of
