MoviesUpdate July 15, 2008 My son and I have decided to watch all 100 of the AFI's 10 Top Ten together over the next few months. As we watch these movies, I'll write about them here, and I'll include his reaction. And for those of you who don't already know about the list, AFI made a list of 10 film categories and listed the tp 10 films for each category. The films were chosen by a vote of several hundred film critics, so it's a pretty neat list. The categories?

Besides playing roleplaying games on Sunday nights, we also watch a movie on DVD every single week. I have 2 buddies who come over every week, and we take turns picking what movies we watch. Then we give each a movie a score from 1 to 10. So far the highest-rated movie we've seen was The Lives of Others, which was a surprise success. And I think our worst-rated movie was Mad Dog Time, which we watched one week when our movie theme was "ensemble casts". Recently, we've watched some of the following movies:
